Coin- A technology

Image
A US technology firm came up with a small device approx. the size of a coin which help detect lost things if and only if the device have been attached to the lost object. The device can be attached with anything from cars to wallet, from cellphones to small kids, i.e. it is compatible with anything in general. The device sends a low energy signal within a range of few 100ft. The firm also developed an app for the purpose. The technology offers radar screen that simply approximates the distance- but not yet the location - of all the paired Stick-N-Find stickers in range. The technology does not let us determine the direction of the lost items, so users have to start walking while watching the screen to see whether the device they are hunting for gets closer. T he designers call the Virtual Leash, allows users to set an alarm to sound whenever a sticker moves a predetermined distance from your phone. It also helps us locate any items that are out of range by sett

Life's Reality

Image
I was born to a family of land lords who lost their land to the infamous partition of India, still recovering from the so called huge losses. With hopes I joined the huge family of the well known “Paul Choudhury of Sylhet” which in the last 60 years or so has scattered to different parts of the world. I was born on 15 th July 1993 to a teaching couple.  As a young lad I would see my dad giving lessons to his students which looked interesting, even though I could not even understand the least about what he was explaining them. I had dreams as a kid that today seems to me as mere fun and frolic, first to run freely without any avoidance then to cycling, as I slowly kept on growing, with age hope and dreams became greater. I have a distant memory of an occurrence when I was in the 4 th standard. I had friends who stood first in our class and it was when I dreamt of achieving the same feet. Yes, I was too young but the reality of the world was slowly reaching my conscien

Journey Abroad

Image
Hello! Everybody. By now you might have been thinking that I am going to describe you, my wonderful journey abroad. Well, it’s not. This is about my quest for the above said. As a young lad I did never think I would ever dream of going for studies abroad. But suddenly a few months back some kind of pest enter into my mind, maybe it was the greed for enormous opportunities you get in the west, especially after you are an alumni to a university of a foreign land. Even if you’re not successful at that level in the country of your stay but, coming back home along with your degree, shall make all the difference. As because you will feel the kind of respect you gain all of a sudden and the importance of your existence thereafter. The people, who some years ago might have just thought of you as a worthless man, will now try to find himself in your image, hoping to have followed your footsteps. That is always a unique trait in among the people of each corner my country. It ha

DOOMSDAY!! Its gone...

Image
They say, finally the day is coming when the world is supposed to end. The doomsday is 21st December 2012.This date is regarded as the end-date of a 5125 year long cycle in the Mesomerican long count calendar. This date marks the beginning of a new era in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation and will include the arrival of the next solar maximum which is the interaction between Earth and the black hole at the centre of the galaxy or earth's collision with a planet called "Nibiru". This idea of collision with the planet Nibiru originated from claims of channelling of alien beings and has been widely ridiculed. December 2012 marks the conclusion of a b'ak'tun-a time period in the Mesoamerican Long count calendar. There is a strong tradition of "world ages" in Mayan literature. According to the PopolVuh, a compilation of the creation accounts of the K'iche' Maya of the Colonial-era hi

Success- An analysis

Image
Success has always been the ultimate and farthest point of a man’s life and career. He takes special interest into gaining success. A successful person is placed high among the people of the society. They are entitled to doing things that can only be dreamt by others. Successful doesn’t just mean that you need to be a rich man or to get richer, success is the personal satisfaction on doing thing that raises one’s status in the society. Which means a successful person will not have a success story till the society and its constituents recognises it. Most importantly by those of who are placed in the media, because media has got immense capabilities of framing a person’s mind. So, if media deems it to be a success story, it is then. How can I be successful? You might have asked this question a million time to yourself as I did. But, still the answer isn’t there with me. Know why? It is because I am not successful yet, not just that you need to have enough maturity and pre
