JustUnfollow

Personally, I took great care for services which “help you better manage your Twitter followers,” because I would like to work on this kind of thing on my own time, in batches – going back through who I should be adding back, or cleaning out those accounts which have long ago abandoned Twitter – like old startups who have since moved on (…e.g., to Yahoo). JustUnfollow is a longtime player in the business of Twitter friend management, having first gotten a somewhat inauspicious start when TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington wrote that "the app didn’t work properly", leading to some internal office fighting. The company has made progress since then adding support for Instagram in January, and recently reaching some 4 million users – up from its 1 million user milestone in August of last year. These mobile apps offer a variety of tools for managing your followers, some of which are free, others which you can “tweet to unlock” (I know, ugh), or you can just bite the bulle...

Google : Revolution

Introduction In Google's Attempt to revolutionize the telecommunications world once again..... Google released a brand new video showing real-life footage from its Project Glass , a futuristic wearable heads-up display with a mounted camera and cellular connectivity. We’ve seen Glass in action before, but now is the first time we actually get to see the user interface of the platform powering Glass as it is (this is clearly not Android, not in a recognizable form). We’ve watched this video over and over again, imagining the possibilities offered by Glass. We believe Glass has the potential to be more than just a heads-up display. With cellular connectivity on board, it could well be the next big disruption since the iPhone. And with a deeply engraved social DNA, Glass could finally give Google Plus a much needed push, turn th...

Image
Augmented reality apps and games have become the craze of time now. First, we talked of Ingress, the game Google has been promoting for quite some time now. Today, we gonna have a view to how Nokia's City Lens can help us on a day to day basis. Nokia's City Lens makes finding the best of places around you look simple and natural. City Lens uses your phone’s camera display to reveal the best shops, restaurants, and points of interest as virtual signs overlaid on the buildings right at our front, so we could instantly see what’s there. With a simple tap we could see more information, get directions, or share with friends. All in the same camera viewer. Tap again to see full place information like hours, reviews, and contact information. Tilt your phone upright and City Lens brings up additional view options like list or map view. No more wandering around for a café. No more looking for street signs. With City Lens, we can see what’s around you from your point of v...
